Hanging out at home

This central Florida cold snap has been crazy to say the least! Look at my peanut all bundled up in February! It FINALLY got into the low 60s and I took him outside to play. It has been so windy & chilly lately. He did not want his picture taken as you can see. He was beating on the door prior to this yelling, "Pay outside!" Mama wasn't moving fast enough ;-)

The other morning, Ryan and I had a few minutes to play before heading off to the gym for my workout class, so we (he) decided to play trains. If there is any toy in the living room we could get rid of and he would notice, it would be his box of trains (thanks Fred & Erin!). He is always asking to "Pay Tains" every day.

Before lunch time, I had let Ryan back in his room to drag some toys out of his toy box. He chose his Alphabet Pal. He brought it to the loveseat and got up here on his own to play. His latest obsession is the ABCs. He wants to read everything that has to do the the ABCs & nothing else. We read the alphabet book for nap & bedtime all week! He can repeat most of the letters back to us when we say them to him too. Makes a teacher-mommy proud.

Grandma would be proud. Ryan grabbed his prayer book the other day and proceeded to "read" on his own. Thankfully the camera was close and had just enough battery life left to capture the cuteness!
