Party time!!!

We started off our Saturday with breakfast out. That is a very rare for us, so we decided to treat ourselves! We went to First Watch and it was good. I hadn't been since this time last year, so it was nice to taste the food like a normal person!

We were then off to Ryan's friend Kyle's 4th birthday party at Monkey Joe's. The boys had so much fun bouncing and playing.

Happy Birthday Kyle!

We left Monkey Joe's and headed to Jacob's 6th birthday party at his house. What to Ryan's surprise...a bounce house!!

After the birthday festivities were over, we rested at home for about an hour. Then we jumped back in the car and headed out to see to Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in concert. Here is Ryan playing the cymbal at the "Instrument Petting Zoo".

Mr. Richard, our local kiddie musician was the opening act. Ryan and I are making our sirens to the "Woo Woo Truck" song.

We listened to the orchestra and halfway through the first act, Ryan fell asleep in my lap. It was precious. He slept all the way until the concert was over. It was a super busy, but wonderfully perfect day!

Rewind to....Friday! I forgot to post these pictures first, so here is how we really started the weekend! Ryan does not have school on Fridays and our public schools were out as well, so I didn't work either! We had our annual Club MOM Halloween Party at a local park.

Stir it up Ryan!

My dear friend Kerry had the best idea for the Fairy Tale Brew! Each child brought in a food item related to a certain fairy tale. While Kerry read the story, the kids came up and dumped their ingredient into the cauldron. When each child had stirred and the story was over, Kerry ladeled out the brew into Ziploc baggies for every child! Here is what was in the BREW:

Snow White's apple: Apple Jack's cereal
3 Little Pigs: straw house-potato sticks; stick house-pretzel sticks; brick house-Chex cereal
Cinderella's pumpkin coach: Mellowcreme pumpkin candy
Jack & the Beanstalk magic beans: jelly beans
Goldilocks & the 3 Bears: Teddy Grahams
Rumplestiltskin spun straw into gold: Rolo candy (gold wrapping)
Red Riding Hood's cookies for Grandma: mini cookies
Hansel & Gretel went to the witch's candy house: gumdrops

Our annual tradition is bobbing for donuts. This one looks like Brady is eating Ryan's ear!

My little stinker cheated and used his hands!

Brady was so determined to get that donut with no hands!

Declan really enjoyed his!
