Wedding Weekend

Now that Blogger has finally decided to behave and let me upload ALL of my photos, I can tell you all about our fabulous weekend at my sister's wedding!

We took off to Lake Placid, NY last weekend for the wedding of a lifetime. It was so much fun! Here are the highlights of our trip:

Here is Ryan on his 2nd airplane ride. We left on Friday morning. My parents and cousins were on the plane with us. Ryan did an outstanding job and was really intrigued by the engine noise. He loved take-off, just like his Mama.
Thank goodness for Daddy's new "toy", Cars, and Curious George. He had a great time watching his movies while we flew. I had a good time napping ;-)

We stayed at a wonderful cabin called the Cobble Mountain Lodge. It was quiet, quaint, and perfect for our family. Here is Ryan having his snack.

Friday night, Cristy & Ethan had booked a restaurant for dinner for anyone who was in town for the wedding. Nicola's had the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Their chicken piccata was incredible!

Saturday morning was the rehearsal. We couldn't have it that evening since there was another wedding booked at the golf club. Here are Ryan & Cayla (the flower girl) meeting for the first time. They became the best of friends.

Yes, that is a beagle in the actual wedding. J.R. and Ryan were both ringbearers. They both did a great job gong downt he aisle. J.R. got a little distracted, but the Milk Bones that Cayla threw did the trick.

Cristy & Ethan came over to our cabin the next morning for a visit before we headed home. We had such a great time with them and the wedding was beautiful. I am so thrilled for them both. My sister deserves happiness and I am so glad she found Ethan. We are overjoyed to have him in our family!
