Ryan has recently started showing a big interest in using his utensils at mealtime. We have made them available to him since he turned one, but he has really taken off with them in the last couple of weeks. He stabbed his meat all by himself and fed himself with his fork two weeks ago for the first time! We cheered him on at the table like we were at a football game. He was so proud of himself.
Here he is giving it a good try. He still needs help most of the time. Usually he gives up and just uses his hands..ha!
The wrong end, but at least he's got the right idea. Gotta love him!

Jacen loves to use his spoon. Which reminds me I need to buy him new utensils since his spoon is getting to be too small for his huge appetite. And by the way, as I write this, Jacen is waving at the picture of Ryan on the side and whispering "Hi!" Seems like they already know each other :)
