Thursday morning we let Phineus the Io moth go. Ryan was very excited! We took the garden outside and got ready for action. Unfortunately, upon opening the garden, I noticed that poor Ferb didn't make it. He never made his cocoon. At least we got one moth!

I gothim a little mad so he would spread his wings. It's amazing how something so beautiful only lives for a week. They have no mouths so they cannot eat.
Poor little moth...such a pretty creature and it can't even eat! But what a fun experience for Ryan :)
