Christmas at Our House

What a wonderful Christmas Day we had here at home. My parents came down to be with us and are staying for a week. I love having them here and so does Ryan! We spent the entire day at home just enjoying being a family and watching Ryan play with his toys. It was awesome that he slept in until 8:00 too! That was a great Christmas present for Mom & Dad. Here are some of the highlights from our day:

The kitchen was the first thing Ryan discovered after breakfast. He said, "Daddy, that's a titchen!!" He cooked 'chocolate chip soup' for us all morning long. We had to get him away from it to get him to open his other gifts!

Even Sputnik got in on the Christmas fun. We got her one of her favorite chew treats and she was inspecting her stocking trying to get it out.

Ryan loves cranes so much. We found him this cute one at IKEA and he just loves it.

My dad got a new pressure cooker from my Mom. Ryan decided he wanted to help Grandaddy pout it back into the box.

Tools...a boy's best friend.

This was our gift from Ryan from his preschool this year.

Grandma and Grandaddy hooked Ryan up with a Smart Cycle. Look out world, here comes Ryan!

"Daddy, I have my own computer!" exclaimed Ryan.

He thought he had typed in his name. He got so excited and was so proud of himself.

Ryan got a backhoe loader that plays music. He pushes the button and Grandma dances with him. He just laughs and laughs. It's so much fun to watch them.
