...because Saturday morning I jumped out of bed at 7 AM to the sound of sleet bouncing off of the grill and patio outside. I got so excited! That NEVER happens here and didn't anymore at our house that day.
After breakfast, Mike and I decided to go "wintry mix hunting" and make a stop at the mall to spend my JC Penney gift card. Yeah, we're nuts, but it was so much fun and made for a great day. Sure beat spending a whole day cooped up inside the house! Plus, Ryan got to play in the playland at the mall and see the choo choo train that goes around inside the mall too. Next time, we'll have to ride!
Here is Ryan all ready to go. He has on a long-sleeved onesie, a fleece hoodie, and his coat. Now, that's rare in FL!
We drove about 30 minutes north of home & pulled off the Interstate into a parking lot. All that was coming down was ice!!! You know you're from Florida when you take a video of it on your camera and pictures. It was quite an experience. This is all ice on the hood of our car. The high was 35 degrees this day...brrrrr!
Here are Ryan & Aunt Cristy leaving the mall in Orlando all bundled up. The wind was so cold that we were walking pretty fast and my hands were chapped. I am not used to that at all. What a fun day we had though. It was worth it so we could experience a little bit of rare winter weather here in Central Florida.

Crazy weather! Sounds like y'all made the best of it though! Ryan looks cute all bundled up!
