Thanksgiving weekend

What a busy and fun Thanksgiving week and weekend we had here! My mom was in town for a few days and got to spend some great time with Ryan. Here are a few pictures of their adventures at the park. This boy loves his playgrounds.

This way Grandma!

Time for a water break.

We had lunch at Steak N Shake after the park. Ryan managed to keep the hat on his head for about 10 seconds! He loved his chicken fingers and applesauce too. YUM!

We took off to Mike's Mom & Stepdad's house Wednesday night. Nothing like both Grandma's in ONE DAY!! That's a special and rare treat for Ryan since both Grandma's live out of town. Here he is chillin' on "Blondegrandma's" floor with his wipes. Who needs toys?!

Baby Peyton, my precious niece.

Ryan enjoying his first Thanksgiving dinner. Last year he was only 7 months old so it was formula and baby food for him. He got to have the good stuff this year. He ate quite a few pieces of turkey and some stuffing!

We took Ryan to the Roaring 20's Pizza & Pipes Restaurant in Ellenton, FL for the first time this weekend. They have a huge 1920's Wurlitzer organ that is amazing. As you can see behind me in the picture, this is only PART of the pipes and bellows. There is a whole nother wall on the other side of the restaurant that looks just like this. The organist is incredible too. We had so much fun!

Ryan loved the music and clapped to every song.

  1. I can't believe Ryan's still wearing shorts. It must be so warm there! It's freezing here. The low tomorrow will be 12F. Crazy! Sounds like you had an awesome Thanksgiving!
