Daddy's Birthday at Disney

Another perk to living in sunny Central Florida is Disney World is right in our backyard! We took advantage of their "Get in free on your birthday" promotion yet again this year, and went for Mike's birthday this past Thursday. Ryan is only 17 months old and has already been to the Magic Kingdom twice. Spoiled kiddo...but who can blame us with the FREE tickets!
Another gorgeous view of Cinderella Castle from Main Street.

Mommy holding Ryan in the exact spot where my dad held me back in 1980 during my first trip to Magic Kingdom when I was three.

Ryan loved the Dumbo ride! This was our longest wait of the day at only 30 minutes. The lines were so short which made for a very enjoyable time. we were able to ride everything we didn't get to ride back in March on my birthday when the place was packed.

Happy Birthday Daddy!! Ryan got the "deer inthe headlights" look when we got on Peter Pan! I don't think he was quite sure what to make of the flying boat!

Check out our reflections in the spinner in the Teacup ride! What a great photo Mike took. Ryan really enjoyed the Teacups. He kept looking for the mouse to pop up in the big teapot in the middle of the ride. That is the same thing I used to so as a child!

We got to meet Mickey & Minnie Mouse! The line was only 25 minutes long so we took advantage. Back in March, it was 2 hours long and with an 11 month old (at that time) we said forget it. This time, we jumped at the chance. Ryan grabbed Minnie's nose and was very curious about them. We even came dressed in our Mickey red!

We caught the end of the Dreams Come True Parade. Here is Ryan enjoying a cool cup of water :-) He was fascinated by all the floats.

Boy, was the Country Bear Jamboree a hit this time! This picture was taken when all the bears were on stage. Ryan started clapping all on his own. He's a country boy at heart. He loved all the bears, but especially the deer, moose, & buffalo on the wall. We sat almost underneath them.

The fall decorations were everywhere and really made the park look beautiful.

Ryan was in such awe of everything that he never fell asleep the entire day. No napping for this boy. He is so much like his mama...can't miss a thing. He crashed hard on the way home after a long, but fun day celebrating with his Daddy.
